Unveil the depths of your soul in Dustbunny, a charming game that allows you to nurture your suppressed feelings and transform them into botanical wonders. Trapped in an abyss within your mind, you awaken in a desolate, dusty room to be greeted by a friendly bunny that holds the key to its secrets. Your journey of self-discovery begins as you collect dustbunnies and Emotibuns, the bushy, timid critters that camouflage themselves as dust bunnies and represent your repressed emotions such as despair, fury, apprehension, solitude, and emptiness. With your keen eyesight and quick fingers, you must catch them before they scamper away. Once they express their feelings, they flourish into charming houseplants, including the uncommon unicorn plants. You bestow them with a unique name and an ID card that tracks their evolution as you attend to their needs, like misting, watering, pest control, and other TLC tasks. Over 20 different Care Cards allow you to interact with your plants in various ways, such as singing, writing, and touching them. As they grow and prosper, their leaves sparkle with bliss, bend down when they're ill, and even jump with delight when showered with kindness. Collecting Care Cards encourages you to give yourself the same love and care you devote to your plants. Each Emotibun sprouts into a one-of-a-kind plant, including some of the rarest ones boasting genetically mutated variegation patterns on their leaves. The ultimate goal is to collect all of the species featured in the Plant Index and to explore the different hybrid plants. Befriend Empathy, a winged bunny who will serve as your guide throughout the game. Empathy will offer daily affirmations to kick-start your day, and regularly monitor your plants' progress while sharing insights on self-love and emotional wellness. The game also incorporates mini-games that allow you to interact with nostalgia-packed retro objects, including Bubble Tea, Cup Ramyun, and Gameboi in your cozy bedroom space. Each object reacts differently to your input, providing endless opportunities for relaxation and fun. As you progress through the game, you'll unearth the backstory behind the room and your repressed emotions. Ultimately you'll face your inner child, completing your journey of self-discovery.
