Immerse yourself in an exciting world of adventure and war as you play the digital version of a popular tabletop board game – Root. In this game, which accommodates 2 to 4 players, the ultimate goal is to claim power over a grand wilderness. The notorious Marquise de Cat has taken over the vast woodland with the intention of reaping its wealth. With her in charge, the diverse creatures that habitat the forest have joined hands to channel their resources and topple the Cats. The Alliance also gets to leverage the help of the wandering Vagabonds, who have a knack of navigating through dangerous paths in the woods. However, their affinity towards the Alliance’s goals is mixed with a cautionary tale of the once-dominating birds of prey that ruled the woods. As if that was not enough, at the frontier of the woodland region, the proud, bickering Eyrie have found new leadership that they trust will help them reclaim their historic sovereignty. Everything has been set up for a showdown that will determine who reigns supreme over the grand woodland. It is up to you, as a player, to determine the outcome of the competition and decide on the faction that will ultimately take root.
