Cooperative puzzler for two players, sharing clues across different devices. Escape the mystical clockwork world before time runs out.
Tick Tock: A Tale for Two is a spooky and eerie cooperative game designed for two players who must work together to solve increasingly complex puzzles to escape a mystical clockwork world before time runs out. To play the game, each player needs a copy on their own mobile device, and a voice connection to communicate with their partner. The game can be played locally or remotely, with cross-platform compatibility. The gameplay duration averages 2.5 hours.
As you progress through the game, you and your partner must collaborate and share clues, as neither of you has the full picture. The game has won multiple awards, including the Danish Games Awards for Best Debut and Best Emergent Experience in 2020, and the Google Play Awards for Most Inventive in 2019. It has also been nominated for the BAFTA Games Awards, Nordic Game Awards, International Mobile Gaming Awards, and Ludicious in 2019. Furthermore, the game was officially selected by AdventureX, Indie MEGABOOTH, and PAX 10, among others.
According to TouchArcade, "Tick Tock: A Tale for Two" is "perhaps one of the most clever game ideas I've ever seen." Meanwhile, EUROGAMER describes the game as a "spooky multiplayer puzzle game with a brilliant hook - that the game is played simultaneously on two screens, with half of the clues on one and half on the other.
