Legion War

Legion War" is an immersive 4X strategy game set in a captivating fantasy world. You can establish and expand your territory, venture into unfamiliar lands, and hunt for enigmatic treasures, while amassing your own cohort of heroes and troops and vanquishing those of your opponents. It culminates in an epic encounter with the deity who controls the world from beyond. With the original EA version, you are presented three legions initially, but they will increase in the future. These are the all-encompassing HUMAN legion, cunning UNDEAD legion, and the advanced STEAM legion. Each legion is equipped with 3 unique heroes that deliver 9 specialized units, 9 awe-inspiring spells, and a package of specialized technology cards. To ensure each game differs from the last, the worlds are generated procedurally, yielding five distinct map types: Pangaea, Great Plain, Mediterranean, Islands and Ring Continent. Up to six legions can engage in on a single game map. Supplies are of paramount significance, and you must compete for access to an enhanced amount of the game’s 4 resources: Gold, Knowledge, Industry, and Magic. Securing certain maps or constructing structures in your castles is the key to acquiring these resources. Units are crucial components of your legion and essential in exploring the world, searching for treasures, crushing your adversaries, and eventually defeating the gods. Each legion has 9 unique units at their disposal and can recruit a mix of neutral units from a mercenary camp or a sea castle. The backbone of your force is composed of Heroes, with three exclusive heroes assigned to each legion. Upgrade technology cards are available, transforming your regular units into heroes and granting access to innumerable talents and equipment. Every Hero commanded in each game role plays with three different upgrade talents and equipment units. Each legion has 9 incomparable spells that are casted by consuming mana with immediate effects on the world. Spells are used for attacking your enemies, assisting your army, or even summoning fields of tombs – each with its characteristics. The game lets you experiment with the construction and management of castles and sea castles. Modify, restructure, and build new structures by spending Gold in these castles. Secondary slots are introduced once the castle is enlarged, and with these expansions, you decide whether to prioritize your strategy for swift growth or take a militaristic approach. Discover unique game-changing opportunities with the use of Knowledge to purchase technology cards. New technology can alter the course of the game with the option to specialize the economy, military, and magic of your legion through three levels of tech in each category. Indulge in a plethora of technology cards to enhance economic output, unit strength, spell power, and much more that’s in store. Use Industry as a resource to purchase unit upgrades which are effective for all units of a particular type, creating a wholly customizable unit tailored to your demands. Each unit has its own independent talent tree, which allows the unit to be developed into multifarious functions. Two additional items can also be equipped with Industry for a total of three, further cementing their role in your legion. Random events can bring unexpected changes, with hundreds of unique events accompanying you in every game.
